Conal is an artist from Belfast. He graduated from Ulster University with a BA (Hons) in Fine and Applied Arts in 2001. He has exhibited both locally and nationally. His paintings include both figure and landscape. Historic installations have explored themes of gender and social position. Conal is a Creative Arts Therapist and Social Worker who works within Mental Health Services. He has also trained as an Art and Design Teacher. His art work often incorporates psychological themes inspired by his interest in art as communication.
